Chris is everything you want from a trainer and coach.  He is extremely knowledgable and is able to explain the function of movements in ways I easily understand. He also works with me on my nutrition to enhance my performance and general wellbeing.  Chris coached me during a knee injury as well as during pregnancy. When I started working with Chris 5 months ago, I was new to Olympic-style weightlifting and didn’t enjoy it very much. Chris patiently coached me – making sure I used the correct form and kept a positive attitude. With his help, I’ve significantly built up my strength and enjoy the benefits I get from these intense, cross-functional workouts. I chose to work with Chris due to both his substantial training experience in addition to his strong educational background in the field.  Chris did a great job of educating and training me in the different foundations of the varying workouts and has provided me with insight into training and wellness that was exactly what I was looking for.  Chris was also able to bring a wealth of health and wellness knowledge that I found to be integral to my ongoing quest for personal fitness.  — Jim

[Iron Hero CrossFit] has formulated a plan to help me attain goals that I never believed possible. Like I said, sneaky genius!…

Physically, I am stronger, leaner, more flexible and more balanced. My husband no longer needs to call a buddy over to help him with the “manly” projects at our house. I not only have strength to help, but the confidence to know that my body is strong enough to keep itself safe from injury while helping with those projects…

As for the physical transformation, here is the bottom line:

Competition Weight:    110lbs

Current Jean Size:      25

Starting BF%:               24%

I have gained strength and endurance since starting [Iron Hero] CrossFit.  When I first started, it was a struggle to complete the baseline.  Now I am able to lift more, have more energy and have acquired more skills such as wall walks and rope climbs…

I wasn’t sure when I started coming how my daughter would handle coming to the gym with me most days.  I believe it has not only increased my love for fitness, but has made my daughter more excited to be active, athletic and healthy as well.  She is almost as excited as I am to come to [Iron Hero] CrossFit!  — Megan

…leaner is the term I should use, but I feel more solid and for sure stronger already.  My core is the best it has ever been and I have had a gut my whole life!  I also have to say my cardio is much improved and my mental endurance is at a place it hasn’t been since I was in the ARMY.  — Tony
