Tell us about your sports and fitness background:
grew up playing softball, soccer and ice hockey. Before turning 40 wanted to get back in shape and did, maintained for 5 years then due to a foot injury stopped working out with a trainer and gained weight. Hoping to refocus now.
How did you first get exposed to CrossFit? Take us back to your first WOD… what was it and how did it feel:
Met Chris at a network event. Don’t remember first WOD but can’t forget my baseline, thought I was dying 🙂
What sort of changes have you seen in your body, health, and fitness since starting CrossFit (before/after):
Feeling stronger but want to see more change in weight, I know it’s a nutrition thing.
What sort of changes in your life have you experienced out of taking on something like CrossFit that were totally unexpected:
getting more comfortable and pushing myself more, it really is the people I workout with that help with this

Any advice for people just getting started:
Just get there, it’s the hardest part yet once there so worth it. Do not be afraid it’s too hard, you can modify to your abilities.
What are your hobbies, interests, and/or talents outside of CrossFit:
animal welfare, drinking wine :), spending time with friends.
