It occurred to me that not everyone knows who I am, so…. Allow me to reintroduce myself.
My name is Chris and I’ve been training people for nearly 24 years: initially in TaeKwonDo, then as a Personal Trainer, and finally as a CrossFit coach and gym owner.
I opened Iron Hero CrossFit in June of 2015 and while we have evolved throughout the years, our goal of positively impacting people has not changed.
Fun Fact #1:
I was a teppanyaki chef from 2002 to 2009 throwing shrimp
in people’s mouths and making onion volcanos.
At Iron Hero, we have some amazing staff members all with the same passion for helping you reach your goals.
Our group clients and our personal training clients do an amazing job of supporting each other toward those goals. While we all have slightly different destinations, we’re all on the same path of self-improvement.
Fun Fact #2:
I played guitar for 8 years and now my guitars are
holding down the floor in my basement.
And because some people care about accreditations (most don’t), here are mine:
- I have a bachelor’s degree in exercise science
- I am a CrossFit Level 2 trainer as well as having the CrossFit Gymnastics certification
- I am a USAW Level 2 Sports Performance Coach
- I am certified as a Level 2 Functional Movement Specialist
- I have the Performance Enhancement Specialist accreditation through NASM
- Lastly, though I have let it lapse, I was a certified kettlebell instructor with the HKC certification as well
Fun Fact #3:
I played soccer through grade school.
This pretty much makes me a professional.
I am focused on delivering actionable tactics [weekly] to help you reach your goals. My goal, in 2023, is to expand this to include video on multiple platforms so we can impact people outside of Omaha as well.
If you have any questions about CrossFit, training in general, nutrition, recovery, weight loss, or anything in that realm, reach out to me ([email protected]) or come check us out at Iron Hero CrossFit.
Nice to meet you and let’s stay connected!
