You’ve got all these stressors in your body is dealing with (exercise, work, nutritional, sleep [or lack thereof], environmental, etc.) and your body needs some down time.
Take a nap…
Read something for fun…
Journal a little bit (that’s right, I said it)…
Put on an oldie but a goodie of a movie…
In other words, just spend a little bit of time (even 10-20 minutes) shutting things down. You’ll feel better, you’ll focus better, and it’s good for the gainzzz!
Take a walk
or spend some time hanging out with the family
Don’t forget your mobility/stability work in preparation for this coming week!
