The statement “go long every once in a  while” applies for today.

You should be able to get all this work done before the 20 minute cap hits and if not, you went too heavy.

There are several reasons why you need to be able to pick the correct weight:  preserving the idea/stimulus of the workout, having a good baseline to come back and measure against, not to mention the psychological pain of not getting something done can be an interesting thing to overcome.

So, pick the weight YOU think you’ll be able to do to challenge yourself AND get the workout finished in the allotted time.
